The casual comfort of the beachside Monkey Room Patio, Monkey Room (open seasonally), The Monkey Room Bar or the classic sophistication of the legendary Colony Dining Room - each location serves as your summer destination for a romantic dinner, leisurely lunch, cocktails after the beach, Sunday brunch or martinis around the piano.

Our culinary professionals have designed a menu for the Colony Restaurants using the flavors and flair of the freshest seasonal ingredients to create inventive debuts, refreshing salads and enhancing signature specialties, like our Snapper Colony, Tempura Fried Maine Lobster Tails, Roasted Colorado Rack of Lamb, Fire-Grilled Filet Mignon or Prime New York Strip.

Dueling Lobsters on Tuesday nights - two 1.25lb lobsters, with mussels, clams and all the fixin's for just $34.95
The Colony's Signature Prime Rib on Thursday nights - Our perfectly prepared Prime Rib plus our famous Caesar Salad for just $25.95
Sunday nights The Colony goes to Italy with a magnificent buffet of classic favorites and contemporary Italian cuisine for only $19.95
"Early Bird Dining" with our Tantalizing Trios menu Tuesday-Saturday from 5:00-6:30pm featuring a special 3-course dinner created nightly by Chef Jamil

Our Famous Sunday Brunch

The Colony's award-winning Sunday Brunch is repeatedly cited as the "Best in Sarasota" by the local and regional media. With a bountiful array of fresh shellfish and seafoods, pates, carving stations, Belgian waffles, Eggs Benedict, specially prepared gourmet items from our menus, omelets, seasonal fruits and pastries, Brunch has become a "must-do" for locals and visitors alike. The Brunch Buffet is served from 10:00am-2:00pm.

The Monkey Room Bar is one of Sarasota's most comfortable, yet energetic places to enjoy a cocktail, a glass of wine from our award-winning wine list, and listen to live music Fridays and Saturdays by Debbie Keaton and Gary Deary - two of Longboat Key's and Sarasota's most talented musicians.

Happy Hour

The Colony's 5 to 7 Happy Hour in waterfront The Monkey Room and Monkey Room Patio offers cocktail, wine and beer specials, as well as a new menu of small plates, all for either $5 or $7. Happy hour is available each night from 5:00 - 7:00 in the bar areas only.
