Fitness Center is a fully-staffed facility that always has an
instructor available to assist and direct your workouts. Our staff
members are certified by one or more of the following leading

FITNESS
CLASSES
The
Colony's wide variety of classes are taught by certified instructors
and suited for all fitness levels. Classes change monthly and
may include: step classes, body sculpting, Pilates, yoga, aerobics,
Latin Cardio, beach power walks and sports conditioning and flexibility.
A fitness schedule is published monthly.
EQUIPMENT
The
Colony offers complimentary use to resort guests of its comprehensive
cardiovascular equipment: Precor Elliptical Trainers, Quinton
and True Treadmills, Lifefitness Recumbent and Upright Lifecycles,
Stairmaster PT4000 and Stairmaster Crossrobic and Freerunner.
The weight training area is completed with a line of Body Master
equipment, a variety of dumbbells from 5 to 80 pounds, a Sit-Up
Master and a Graviton.
PERSONAL
TRAINING
Certified
fitness trainers are available by appointment for one-on-one personalized
fitness training. Programs are designed specifically for each
individual's needs and capabilities. All training sessions include
a consultation and can include any of the following areas: Posture,
Flexibility, Strengthening, Weight Loss and Sports-Specific training.

The Colony offers a variety of additional fitness services such
as Aqua Aerobics, Beach Nature Hikes, Morning Power Walks and
Morning Sun Salute Yoga and fun Beach Latin Cardio at sunset.
For
corporate groups enjoying meetings at The Colony, we provide complimentary
Fitness Breaks to stretch the muscles and learn a simple breathing
technique that re-energizes the body.
