By popular demand, The Colony’s Beach Bacchanal is back, Thursday, June 5 at 7:00 pm! Our first celebration was such a smash, we’ve decided to uncork another fabulous party, this time welcoming Doug Barr and Bruce Orosz from
Hollywood & Vine Cellars.
Actor turned director and screenwriter, Doug Barr, relocated to the Napa Valley from Hollywood, in the early 1990’s. Inspired to try his hand at the wine business, Doug called his longtime pal, Bruce Orosz, and together, they created Hollywood and Vine Cellars. H & V released its first vintage in 1998 to glowing reviews and continues garner praise from the press and connoisseurs alike. This boutique winery produces a limited number of bottles each year, so to experience these wines, consistently rated in the 90’s by Wine Spectator, is a connoisseur’s dream!
This
intimate evening for true connoisseurs will include:
- A reception in
the sand with elegant passed hors d'oeuvres and an introductory
wine.
- Our gourmet grill
on the beach, manned by the culinary talents from The Colony
Restaurants, will allow guests to select their choice of an exquisite
Filet Mignon, Delmonico Steak, Rack of Lamb, Ahi Tuna Steak or
a Capon. Next, select from an array of custom blended salts and
rubs. Our culinary team will be preparing tableside Caesars and
sides to complement your selection.
